Blue Cradle is always actively looking for sponsors, partners and donors. For the moment, we are focusing on Aotearoa New Zealand, our Blue Schools programme and research facilitation opportunities across the region.
Currently, we work mainly in Canterbury and Ōtautahi-Christchurch growing our capacity and reach. While we always look for new projects involving data collection, for the moment we are focusing on penguins, microplastics and biosecurity issues, in a climate change context.
Our long-term objective is to either regularly work with sailing vessel owners, or alternatively acquire or refit an existing vessel, that we would then own.
If you are an institution, iwi, hāpū, education partner across Te Waipounamu (South Island) or Te Ika a Maui (North Island), please get in touch and we will aim to respond as soon as possible with a response.
Our approach is community-led, and community-driven.
We aim to make ocean science more accessible for the community, for different audiences, aimed specifically towards tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth).
